Public Relations Make Your Company Memorable

Public Relations and Marketing are Not the Same?
Marketing and public relations are distinct and separate entities that compliment one another. Both will do much to get your company and products known to consumers. But nothing accents your company prestige and goodwill like strategically placed positive public relations.

Consumers remember stories about companies and products more readily than they do advertisements. So, companies that seize every opportunity -- or create opportunities -- for public relations coverage are also are more memorable companies to consumers.

Precision Intermedia is here to help you determine the best mix of media, message and presentation--whether it’s a feature story in the business section, a timely television interview on the 6 o’clock news or a photo break featuring your CEO.

We are passionate about helping you and your business grow in a positive and meaningful way--and a smart public relations campaign can help accomplish that.

The Role of the Public Relations Specialist
Public relations specialists handle organizational functions such as media, community, consumer and industry relations. They do more than “tell the organization’s story.” They must understand the attitudes and concerns of community, consumer, employee, and public interest groups and establish and maintain cooperative relationships with them and with representatives from print and broadcast journalism.

Public relations specialists draft press releases and contact people in the media who might print or broadcast their material. Many radio or television special reports, newspaper stories, and magazine articles start at the desks of public relations specialists. Sometimes the subject is an organization and its policies toward its employees or its role in the community. Often the subject is a public issue, such as health, energy, or the environment, and what an organization does to advance that issue.

Public relations specialists also arrange and conduct programs to keep up contact between organization representatives and the public. For example, they set up speaking engagements and often prepare speeches for company officials. These media specialists represent employers at community projects; create presentations for meetings and school assemblies; and can even plan conventions.
